When you are exuding vibrancy and your family and social relationships are good, that is also the glory of God. christ means the presence of God in you.
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me(John 12:32). This means that when, through prayer and meditation, you lift your ideal up to the point of acceptance, the manifestation will appear. In other words, you will exprience the joy of the answered prayer.
You do not associate the salvation or solution to your problem with a man or another personality, whether it be Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha or Laotze. You look to no man to save you.
Look always to your spiritual inheritance and never to your human parents or ancestors.

If a man looks at his human ancestors as the source of his being, he is indeed limiting himself and will feel restricted and circumscribed by his environment, upbringing and limited beliefs of his forebears. knowing that God is his real Father and that he has inherited all the powers, qualities and attributes of the Infinite gives him the feeling and the awareness that he can do great things, and he will go forth conquering and to conquer.
