아마존에서의 소개
(박사님께서 욥기를 설명하신 책 입니다.)
욥기는 성서 중에서 가장 중요하고, 심오한 책 중의 하나이다. 욥기는 오랜 세월동안 신학적, 철학적 토론의 주제였습니다. 이 책의 주요 주제는 선량한 사람이 불행, 재난을 겪고 결국 그가 잃었던 것을 다시 되찾고 행복, 번영, 그리고 평화를 갖는 다는 것이다.
1장
On the heel of the discovery of the mental and spiritual laws of life, you throw off the yoke of bondage and cease to submit to the hypnotic spell of the word of opinions and false beliefs.
In simple language the book of Job is telling us about the interaction of the male and female principle within ourselves, or the interplay of our conscious and subconscious mind.
All the trials , tribulation, sufferings, and misery of our neurotic age are due to the inharmonious interaction between the conscious and the subconscious of men and women every where.
Satan also means the race mind, the world mind which impinges on all of us, casting its hypnotic spell of lack, limitation, and misery.
(7)And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
이 절에서는 사탄이란 신화이지 실제로 그런 존재는 없다는 것을 말한다.
나의 옛 친구는 그의 동료를 완전히 믿었지만 그는 나의 친구를 속이고 배신했고 은행에 예금한 모든 돈을 가지고 도주했다. 나의 친구는 그를 증오하려는 유혹을 받고 그에게 온갖 저주를 보냈다. "나는 그를 받아 들이고, 그에게 사업의 이익 절반을 줬다."라고 친구는 나에게 말했다. 내가 증오, 분노, 적의의 파괴적 감정을 뒤따르는 위험한 결과를 지적할 때 까지 그는 분노를 키워왔다. 그는 적 (마귀)는 타인(他人)이 아니고 자신을 신체적, 지적으로 파괴하는 자신의 선택인 증오 였다 라는 것을 알았다.
그는 옛 동료에 대해서 악의에 차게 생각하는 유혹을 철저히 거부했다. 그리고 그는 성령(聖靈)과 하느님의 인도와 사랑이 자신의 생명에 들어오도록 기원했고 그의 사고는 선의와 사랑의 신적 법칙에 적합하도록 바꿔졌다. 친구는 외국 어딘가에 가서 찾을 수 없는 그를 위해 기도했다. 친구의 마음에 그가 생각날 때면 "하느님은 당신과 함께 있다."라고 스스로 말했다. 결국 그는 옛 동료를 마음 속에서 만나면 하느님의 평화를 그에게 보낼 수 있었다.
That which I am and that which I want to be are always quarrelling in my mind.
(21)And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.
Here we are dealing with the law of cause and effect which is impersonal.
You must realize the interchangeability of Lord and Law.
성서는 당신에게 특정 교의, 전통, 교회, 또는 특정 신학을 믿어라고 말하지 않는다. 반대로 성서의 진리는 지구상의 어떤 교회나 인간 보다 먼저 존재했다.
8장
(1)Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said, (2)How long wilt thou speak these things? and how long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wind? (3) Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice? (4) If thy children have sinned against him, and he have cast them away for their transgression;
You are not punished for your sins but your sins which is an automatic reaction of your subconscious to your habitual thinking.
We can exprience nothing that is not a part of our own consciousness.
Change your concept of yourself, and you change your destiny.
The whole world could tell you that something you planned was impossible, but the boundless wisdom within you knows the way and reveals the perpect plan.
28장
(28)And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
The word fear means to have a healthy reverance and respect for the power of God within, to give it your supreme allegiance and know no other.
You do not necessarily learn from exprience, hence mere agedness does not always betoken wisdom.
When you do not know that your consciousness is the causation factor behind everything that takes place in your exprience, you have no understanding whether you are ninety or nine chronologically speaking.
You are saved from the pit of sorrow, frustration, neuroses, mental aberrations of all kinds, if you withdraw regularly and systematically from the vexations and strife of the day and commune regularly with God, seeking His strength, light, love, and peace.
Nothing is predetermined.
Original sin has nothing to do with the physical, sexual act; it is man beliving in the wisdom of the world, opinions of man, and using his intellect destructively.
Are you afraid of the future? Are you worried about your family, friends, or business? In short, Are you unhappy? If you are, you can rest assured that you are not loving God or Good.
